Shot with family members playing themselves, this half-fiction half-documentary essay film follows Jeanie’s journey after coming back to her hometown Chengdu from the US due to the pandemic. Everything seems to be out of control: she lost contact with her boyfriend who was sick, and her younger sister has grown increasingly rebellious. As her parents try to use supernatural fengshui forces to switch their destiny, Jeanie unravels a hidden memory and the elusive connection between all is happening, during this stagnant time.
